Gail Crosson’s watercolor collage entitled Hootlets was featured in the new Cheap Joe’s Art Stuff 2021 Guide to Great Art catalog on page 20. Gail has been busy with her artwork during the pandemic and decided to send her collage in to Cheap Joe’s for consideration in their section “What We’re Doing” and it was chosen to be included in their latest publication. We are thrilled to see Gail receive recognition for her incredible collages.
Due to the pandemic, the Saint Louis Watercolor Society did not hold their traditional holiday party. Instead they invited members to gather at a ZOOM meeting on December 9th and share winter themed paintings. It was an enjoyable event and we hope more members will attend our next scheduled ZOOM meeting on January 20th at 7 p.m. when Mary Dee Schmidt will critique paintings submitted by members. On Friday, November 20th, the STLWS plein air painters took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather and met at The Muny in Forest Park. Although the day was overcast the lovely fall scenery was a delight to paint. Here are some photos of their outing.
