Saint Louis Watercolor Society members are invited to a very special day at the Don Wiegand Studio in Chesterfield to paint en plein air, Saturday June 5. Nestled in the Missouri Valley, this lovely property provides land features and structural features that will captivate your senses and make for dynamic interaction with nature to create your next masterpiece. Here is a look at the property, thanks to Linda Green/Metzler. Please contact Linda if you plan to come out for this great day, at email@example.com.
The day will begin at 8:30 AM and continue to 5:00 PM. Lunch spots abound in the valley, but you might just want to bring your own. Water and bathrooms will be available. Don asks that we park in the East lot on the map to avoid congestion in his circle driveway and to give the artists a clear view of the park grounds. Artists can unload their gear, stopping at the front of the studio first, and then drive around to the east lot to park and re-entering the property through the gate at the back to choose a spot and set up.
We are taking Chesterfield by storm this June! Our signature member show at Art Trends Gallery opens the night before. Hope to see you there, and at this fun day on the Don Wiegand property. To learn more about Don Wiegand see his website at Wiegand Studios

The current Pilot House Exhibition at First Bank Des Peres, Manchester Rd at Weideman, features works by Barb Wagamon, Rosie Phillips and Linda Hammelman. This beautiful light-filled venue is a fine show case for larger paintings. Stop in and take a look! This show will be in place through July 20. Thanks to Barb Wagamon for these great photos.
Check out the May issue of Saint Louis Magazine. The fashion pages shot in my art studio with my paintings in the background.
