Janine Helton’s painting Portrait of a Dachshund and Connie Schmidt’s painting September Song Elk River were accepted by Juror Ken Call, in the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies 50th Anniversary Exhibition. With the acceptance of Portrait of a Dachshund in the exhibition, Janine Helton earned Signature Status in WFWS. The exhibition is being hosted by the Western Texas Watercolor Society, and showing at the Museum of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, from February 5 to May 4, 2025.
Janine Helton’s painting Foundations 2 has been selected for inclusion in the 44th Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolor by Juror Carolyn Latanision. The exhibition is on display from Aug 2 to Sept 27, 2025, at the View Arts Center, 3273 State Route 28, Old Forge, NY.
