On Saturday, April 12th, from 1 to 3 p.m., the Saint Louis Watercolor Society held their Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony for the 25th Annual Juried Exhibition, juried by Brienne M. Brown, in the Carnegie Room of the St. Louis Public Library – Central Library. We had a lovely turnout and everyone enjoyed viewing the paintings and partaking in some of the light refreshments. Deb Dey, our President, presented the awards to the award winners and Signature status certificates to the new Signature Members. Here are some photos of the event:

We thank all the artists who entered the show, our juror, all the volunteers who worked so hard to make the show possible, and the St. Louis Public Library for hosting the event. We felt privileged to hold the event in such a beautiful and prestigious place. “Built in 1912, the St. Louis Public Library’s flagship, Central Library, is a monument to the past and a cultural beacon for the future.”
