We have some exciting news to share.
The following STLWS members were juried into Watercolor West 55th Annual International Transparent Watercolor Exhibition 2023 by juror, Michael Reardon, NWS, AWS:


Two of Alicia Farris’ works were accepted into Splash 24 Best of Watercolor publication. “Blue Eyes” was awarded Honorable Mention and “Something to Smile About” was accepted in the Finalist category. The publication is now on the newsstands.

Alicia Farris’ painting, “Bomb Pop Stop” was awarded Watercolor Honor Society Award of Excellence in Watercolor USA 2023, now exhibited at the Springfield, Missouri Art Museum in the Weisel and Kelly Galleries.

This is the 62nd exhibition of Watercolor USA, a national, annual juried exhibition recognizing contemporary American watermedia painting. This year’s exhibition is judged by prolific watercolorist Keiko Tanabe, AWS, NWS, AIS, LPAPA.

Alicia Farris’ painting “Limited Access” was selected for the 60th Annual Membership Exhibit of the Southwestern Watercolor Society, judged by acclaimed watercolor painter, Stan Miller, AWS, showing at the Lillian Bradshaw Gallery at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young Street, Dallas, TX. The exhibition will be open from September 5th though September 29th. The Awards reception will be on Saturday, September 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
