WATERCOLOR INTERNATIONAL is an invitational held annually in Greece. 100 world-wide artists are invited to exhibit. Awards are given.
Daven was awarded First Place for his painting Parisian Reflections.
Daven said Parisian Reflections is a view of the Christmas window of Au Printemps women’s store in Paris and shows the reflections of the buildings and sights on the sidewalk and across the street. The Paris Opera House (of Phantom fame) is on the square.
Janet Doll was awarded a Commended Award for her painting Tea Time.
The exhibition theme was Glimpses of Everyday Life, curated by George Politis, and the entries were juried by Agus Budiyanto, Stella Canfield, Amit Kapoor, Laurin McCracken, Agus McEwan, Prafull Sawant, Michael Solovyev, Tom Shaller, Sergey Temerev, Zhou Tianya, Jayson Yeoh, Ze Ze Lai.
