Here are some photos from the Saint Louis Watercolor Society’s Fall Retreat, October 8 – 10th, at the Toddhall Retreat & Conference Center. What a lovely way to take a break, relax and commune with fellow artists, while painting indoors or out in a beautiful setting. It looks like a good time was had by all! We can also see some negative painting by artists who took the Linda Kemp workshop.
We had a great time painting and eating and painting some more. A small but super fun group. Toddhall is such a beautiful place to paint and relax with a great bunch of artists. I highly recommend going on retreat at Toddhall. You can stay the whole three days or just stop by for a day and hopefully make some new friends. This was my third year attending and I got a lot accomplished, an I did a lot of practicing on techniques we learned at Linda Kemps’ workshop. We even had time to watch a couple of videos for even more inspiration!!! Come join the fun next October. It’s a great facility with lots of room and beautiful grounds. A plein air painter’s dream!!! Get those creative juices flowing!!!
