Painting Acrylics with Watercolor Techniques,
September 10, 2016, 10 am – 4 pm
Iris Study III, Watercolor
This workshop is for any level of artist, as it is a looser, less detailed, and more creative use of acrylics. The process goes quickly, so students will very possibly complete two paintings. Subjects will be a floral and a boat harbor scene. Each application will be demonstrated. Fee $80. A supply list will be furnished at the time of registration.
Watercolor Using The Saturated Wet Technique
October 8, 2016, 10 am – 4 pm
Pots and Things, Watercolor, Saturated Wet Technique
If you enjoy a fresh and more spontaneous approach while working with watercolors, this is the ideal class for you. Colors flow together and mingle, creating beautiful transparent combinations, which lead to a very creative finished painting. Some drawing experience is valuable. Fee $80.
