Watercolor Workshop With Carol Jessen
May 20 and 21, 2016
321 S. Main, St. Charles, Missouri
This spring’s workshop will focus on taking your subject from a value sketch to the finished painting. The value sketch is the best tool for planning your composition and deciding the placement of darks, lights, and midtones. Knowing where the values are will simplify the process of going from light to dark when painting.
Workshop participants should bring photographic references and a sketchbook or pad. Two pencils – one hard and one soft. An HB or 2B and a 4B or 6B. Also your usual painting gear. If you need a supply list, I’d be glad to send you one.
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuition: $165 for the two day workshop
