Jane M. Mason receives Masters at Harvard

Reported by our former president Jane M. Mason

So surreal; will walk across Harvard Yard next week to graduate with my Masters in Museum Studies. To quote the Grateful Dead, “What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been.” Weirdly emotional. Weirdly surreal.

My thesis has been awarded the “Dean’s Prize for Outstanding A.L.M. Thesis” for this year at Harvard Extension School! The award is described as “recognizing work that embodies the highest level of imaginative scholarship.” I like that: imaginative scholarship. Plus, my name will be in the Harvard Gazette.

Super congratulations to Jane!
