Early this morning, August 15th, Saint Louis Watercolor members joined Urban Sketcher St. Louis members at Repertory/Opera Theatre, built on the grounds of Webster University, with landscaping and buildings from contemporary to English Tudor. Everyone wore masks and stayed properly distanced while enjoying the gathering and scenery. Here are some photos they shared with us.
We had a nice turnout on February 3rd for Urban Sketching at Kaldi’s Coffee in Chesterfield Valley. We spent time focusing first on three models, sketching each one fairly fast. Then we sketched whoever/whatever we wanted. Here are a few of our sketches.
Here are some photos from last night’s Urban Sketching event at the Kirkwood Theatre Guild. The sketchers sketched the play, “Other Desert Cities,” during their dress rehearsal. Although very challenging, the artists really enjoyed this event.
