This year’s STLWS Fall Retreat at the Mercy Conference and Retreat Center was wonderful despite the unseasonable cold weather which hampered our members desire to paint plein air. However, the center offered a wonderful space to paint in, and made partaking in the snack breaks and delicious meals more convenient. The private bedrooms were also very nice for those staying overnight. Everyone who attended the event enjoyed the camaraderie and chance to paint in a serene and welcoming environment.
