Spencer Meagher ” Nocturne” Workshop!
Enjoy two days exploring the mysterious world of nocturnes with Illinois artist, Spencer. Because artificial and moonlight drastically alter our color perception, Spencer will help develop your understanding of color analysis in a night time setting. We will be working in the studio from photographs provided by Spencer and there will be plenty of demonstrations.
- If weather permits, we will go outside the first evening and do a plein air nocturne.
This will be an acrylic workshop (oil and watercolor welcome, just be aware of the different approaches). If you don’t have acrylic supplies, they can be provided to you for an additional fee of $30 per student. Supplies remain the property of the instructor. Artists keep their paintings.
