Approximately 50 of Daven Anderson’s non-rivers series paintings will be on exhibition for the month of June in the 1900 PARK GALLERY in the heart of Lafayette Square. The opening reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres will be Friday, June 10th from 5:30 pm to 8 pm. At 8 pm the gallery will be hosting a jazz vocalist and band. Gallery visitors may remain to hear the vocalist and continue viewing the paintings at a charge of $10.
Daven’s non-rivers paintings include works showing scenes from St. Louis, the Charleston and Savannah Low Country and around Europe. The one shown above, WEARING ORANGE IN ARLES, shows the Roman Coliseum in Arles, France.
